Mi Casita in Hewitt

My first time visiting this restaurant. The staff was very polite and fast. The chips and salsa, and the food were all good. U was surprised how quickly they delivered my order. I had the Speedy Gonzales. The flavor was good, the amount of food was more than reasonable and it was fresh. All in all a good quick little Mexican Restaurant

Ate here for the first time while in Waco for doctor appointment. My friend and I thought it was very good and would eat there again when I come back to Waco. Service was fast and friendly and food was excellent.

I go here often and always enjoy it. They have really good chips and salsa. The service is good and I never have to wait too long to get my food that is always delicious. A must if you are in the Hewitt area.

Service was terrific. I came in the afternoon and they were doing good business. The ceviche was wonderful. I was very impressed with the flan with was very smooth and not curdled as I sometimes get. The salsa was delicious with a smoke flavor. I very much enjoyed my lunch here.

Awesome little place. Great food. Daily made tortillas are a big bonus. I had the diablo burrito, and it was excellent. Not for the faint at heart. This bad boy brought the HEAT!!! 👺

We eat here every other week. They are very easy going when you want to order a vegetarian meal. Good stuff!

I'm originally from Southern California and this place has the closest version of carne asada fries and burrito to the ones I grew up eating in Cali! So glad we found this place and it's so close to our house...Menudo is amazing as well!!!

When I am behaving well & following a healthy eating plan, I go to Mi Casita to get grilled pork chops for breakfast. I get grilled beef or chicken fajitas with grilled onions and grilled red/green peppers for supper. The TASTE IS AMAZING! During this journey, I've learned that IT'S ALL ABOUT THE SEASONING! To test this, I went to another restaurant and ordered exact same supper. I went back to Mi Casita & haven't gone back to that other restaurant. It is Amazing what you dont miss in regards to potentially high caloric side dishes when the entree is deliciously seasoned! Mi Casita does a phenomenal job with seasoning their meats & vegetables. Well done Chef!!

Great customer service, if you frequent the spot they’ll remember you and how you like being served which is pretty cool and rare nowadays. And thank you for adding extra green sauce to my burrito.

Great breakfast tacos

This place is good, today was my first day here never heard of this place before and I lived in Waco for 20 years. This place is a great hole in the wall, good food and good salsa. The salsa has a unique flavor that I know sets it apart from the other restaurants in town. I like spicy so the salsa has the right heat for me not to hot, but not a boring kick too. I ate the “Diablo Burrito” it also has good heat I would not recommend it if you don’t like spicy food. My only critique is that it is pretty small besides that I would come here again definitely.

They put thought into distancing and it became a non-issue. It's the last thing I want to think about when I'm having breakfast. Very friendly and our food was great.

FOOD WAS ON POINT LIKE ALWAYS!! WE HAD A NICE WAITRESS, VERY ATTENTIVE TO US!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

Great hot sauce and chips, always a good first sign of a great Mexican food restaurant. I always get the beef quesadillas and have never been disappointed.

Our first time here, very good food and service and reasonable prices. Lunch was around $25 for 2 people. We will definitely be back!

Very great place to get lunch during that lunch hour traffic on Hewitt drive, very fast and hott fresh food, they have a drive thru, orders ready less then 5min, awesome lunch specials and dinner menu is good, their chips and green salsa is the best, sometimes I just go for the chips and dip,

Usually when my daughter and I eat there ,we really enjoy the food ,yesterday the waitress took my order I had asked for charo beans instead of refried beans I also didn't want the rice ,when she brought my plate I didn't get charo beans and the rice was on my plate ,she brought the charo beans to me ,we ordered sour cream enchiladas , both of our plates were lukewarm,almost sent the plates back ,we ate it the next time our food is lukewarm we are sending it back ,very disappointed yesterday with food and service

Pretty good if you stop after the chips & salsa

Good food! Service is hit or miss. Sometimes you get refills and sometimes you don't. I find that annoying when you're the only table in the place.
